August 24-25 saw the conclusion of the PDC Nordic & Baltic season with the fifth double-header weekend, consisting of ten Pro Tour events spread across five weekends.
In a thrilling final, Sweden’s Harrysson secured his first win of 2024 by narrowly defeating Labanauskas 6-5, after surviving a match dart. Labanauskas, the Lithuanian number one, bounced back to claim his third victory of the season in Event Ten. He avenged his earlier loss to Harrysson in the quarter-finals before triumphing over Teemu Harju 6-4 in the final.
Harju from Finland had his best performance of the year by reaching the Event Ten final, while Norway’s Dekker reached back-to-back semi-finals during the weekend.
The final Order of Merit was topped by Sweden’s Jeffrey de Graaf with earnings of €5,125, followed by Labanauskas (€4,450) and Engström (€4,000). De Graaf and Labanauskas have now earned qualification for the 2024/25 Paddy Power World Darts Championship and will represent the PDCNB circuit at Alexandra Palace later this year.
