In one of the highly anticipated clashes of the tournament, reigning champion Michael van Gerwen is set to take on 2021 champion Jonny Clayton in a mouth-watering encounter. This match is just one of 16 first-round clashes that will be taking place across Friday evening and Saturday afternoon at the AFAS Live.
The field has been expanded to 32 players who will be competing for the title and a share of the impressive £400,000 prize money. The tournament is scheduled to take place from September 13-15, with play split across five sessions.

The action continues with 2022 runner-up Dirk van Duijvenbode facing Daryl Gurney, two-time finalist Peter Wright squaring off against Dave Chisnall, and Nathan Aspinall making his return against young Dutch talent Wessel Nijman.
The tournament will progress to the second round on Saturday night, with the quarter-finals set to take place on Sunday afternoon. The semis and final will then follow in Sunday’s decisive evening session.
