The PVA EXPO in Prague will be the setting for the final European Tour event of the year, happening from October 18-20. The competition in the Czech capital marks the end of the race for European Championship qualification.
“It’s a crucial weekend for all the players as they look to secure their spots in Dortmund,” said Nathan Aspinall, who currently holds the final qualifying position.
The action kicks off on Friday with 16 matches scheduled across two sessions, all to be broadcast on PDCTV, Viaplay, and DAZN. Fans can look forward to seeing Aspinall and reigning champion Peter Wright in action.
Wright faces off against Menzies in an all-Scottish clash, with the latter still £750 away from securing his spot in the European Championship. Dimitri Van den Bergh is also fighting for his place and will go up against Jonny Clayton.
The stakes are high for Michael Smith as he aims to solidify his qualification against Kevin Doets. Meanwhile, Daryl Gurney takes on Raymond van Barneveld and World Grand Prix champion Mike De Decker makes his return against Brett Claydon.
There are several other exciting matchups to look out for, including Gabriel Clemens vs. Brendan Dolan, Florian Hempel vs. Alan Soutar, and Callan Rydz vs. Martin Lukeman.
Saturday will see the entry of the 16 seeded players, with top seed Dave Chisnall facing off against either Robert Owen or Niels Zonneveld. World number one Luke Humphries and second seed Ross Smith will also be in action against their respective opponents.
The competition promises to be fierce as players battle it out for their spots in the prestigious European Championship. Stay tuned for all the darts action from Prague!
